Taxi Ride beat Meltarib by a nose Friday (Dec 2,2011) in the $48,700 feature at Hollywood Park, ending a six-race losing skid.

Ridden by Joe Talamo, Taxi Ride ran 1 1-16 miles on the turf in 1:43.85 and paid $21.20, $7.20 and $4.40. The 5-year-old had not won since Feb. 18, 2010, at Santa Anita.

Taxi Ride has two wins in seven career starts and earnings of $67,400.
